Dr. Pearson is originally from Miami, Florida. She initially began her dental career in 1970 as a dental assistant. Her love of dentistry and desire to respond to patients’ needs led her to attend Miami Dade Community College for Dental Hygiene, where she graduated cum laude in 1974. She then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received a degree to teach dental hygiene in the university setting. Dr. Pearson graduated from the University Of Kentucky College Of Dentistry with high distinction in 1981 and completed her post-graduate residency at Tufts University in Boston. She has been in private practice in Lexington, Kentucky for the past 20 years. Dr. Pearson has the distinct honor of being one of the 230 accredited members (in the world) of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In addition to being a member and co-founder of the Kentucky Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, she is presently the chairman of the scientific session for the Blue Grass Dental Society Dr. Pearson's Lexington Dental Patients know they can trust her with their individual needs.
