Harriet is a middle aged woman who had recently lost weight and was addressing other health concerns in her life. She wanted to get her teeth healthy as well. Our dental hygienist educated Harriet about the links between periodontal or gum disease and heart disease. She received periodontal treatment and a bridge to replace a tooth that had to be extracted due to the periodontal disease. Harriet has improved her overall general and oral health.
