How white will my teeth get?
In clinical studies, ZOOM has been able to achieve an average nine shades whiter.* Your results, of course, will vary depending on the darkness of your
teeth and your circumstances. Ultimately the goal will be to achieve your optimum, natural whiteness. During the consultation, the dentist will go
over what you personally can expect for your individual situation.
*Clinicaly proven using "Vita" shade guide used by dentists worldwide.
How long does it last?
Your teeth are as individual and unique as you are and, therefore, your actual results my vary. However, in general, ZOOM whitening results can last up to two years assuming good hygiene and reasonable exposure to staining foods or beverages.
Will it hurt?
The ZOOM teeth whitening process is normally completely painless. A
very small percentage of people may experience a minor dull ache following
the procedure. Taking an analgesic almost always resolves the feeling. It is
best to aviod very hot or very cold drinks for the first 24 hours if there is any
tooth sensitivity.
Is it safe?
Yes. The primary ingredient in the ZOOM gel is
hydrogen peroxide which has been safely used in teeth
whitening for over 100 years and is recognized as an
effective ingredient by the dental community.
The ZOOM treatment has also been tested and found safe by university researchers. Independent safety studies conducted by the University of
Medicine and reviewed by researchers at New York University, found
conclusively that the ZOOM teatment resulted in no structural change in
teeth, no adverse impact on fillings, and no softening in tooth enamel.
Additionally, only licensed dentists and properly trained dental professionals perform this procedure, which further ensures your safety.
